This is the last call for entries for this year’s renewed BuSho Film Festival. Once again, there is only one submission platform and new deadline which is 1 March at 12:00 CET. The refreshed pre-jury is still waiting for your entries in the usual categories.

At the previously announced Stuttgart screening, we had the chance to meet again one of the best Hungarian short films of all time, which we have been and will continue to mention every year, because it is the LAST CALL, thank you Hajni Kis for this masterpiece!

For many years now, February is also the time for our Kiev screening, where the Best of 17th BuSho 2021 selection with Ukrainian subtitles is shown at the Líra Film Theatre.

Also at this time of year, Sofia is a popular event for last year’s BuSho winners, you might think that’s a coincidence, but it’s not. However, due to the recent epidemic situation, this time the organisers have moved the screening to April in collaboration with the local Film University. We will announce the final date when it is confirmed.

So for now the focus is on the selectors, and we’ll be in touch soon with entry statistics, details and background info before announcing a competition programme in early May. So don’t forget to submit your films to the 18th BuSho Film Fetival!
