In addition to the international short films, the BuSho Film Festival has since its beginning attached great importance to the accompanying programmes, including of course the evening concerts, and we present a selection of these below.

In the early days, we had acts such as ’Satöbbi’, the then-fledgling ’Napra’, and the ’Erik Sumo Band’ in the Kultiplex, who played to such a full house that a sudden decision to put the stage set and sound in the courtyard immediately resulted in 2 full houses.

Then, in Almássy Square, there were V4 international acts, although the biggest international success was undoubtedly achieved years later by a certain ’Adam Bomb’ at Trafik!

Because after years of travelling circus, we ended up in the legendary basement of the originally Tilos az Á, later Trafik, and then it probably goes without saying that it closed down, and for us it is still perfect as a jury consultation venue, otherwise it is, unfortunately, a warehouse.

’AHBB’ and ’Deep Husky’ have played here as returning acts at several festivals, but we also recorded our first real material for ’Rackajam’ and ’Ez a divat’ here.

’Surf Truckerz’, punk-rockers ’Zsetonpityu & the Cash’ and Irish pub music outfit ’Travellers Company’ all appear in the same spot in a making of video.

Unfortunately, we didn’t record it, but I would definitely like to mention the ’Eszterlövészek’ and ’Audiostage’, and then the Tribute band, which I remember was transferred to the Fészek Cultural Centre in Astoria for a single year, where we had acts like ’Blue Cold Jalapenos’ from the Kőbánya Music Studio.

We have also hosted ’Apollogika’ and ’7 seconds in the future’, or most recently the ’Poa Pratensis Bluegrass Band’ in the Verdi Hall of the Italian Cultural Institute, the venue of the concert film with ’Racka’.
